Information you give us
This can include account information, display name, language preference, horse or ranch claims, messages, ranch inquiries, community posts, photographs, videos, documents, registration evidence, support messages and other content you choose to submit.
Information used to operate the service
Conservation Legacy also uses technical and activity information needed for authentication, security, session management, fraud and abuse prevention, notifications, support tracking, content review and reliable operation.
Public versus private information
Public ranch pages, approved horse stories, published media, community posts and approved archive material can be visible to other visitors. Private evidence, registration-paper originals, account-security data, moderation records, private ranch inquiries and exact location information are not made public merely because a related horse or ranch has a public page.
Payments
Online support checkout is processed by Stripe. Conservation Legacy records the contribution status and the project or opportunity it is associated with so confirmed support can appear in accountability totals. The platform does not need to display your private payment-card details.
Ranch inquiries
When a signed-in member contacts a ranch through Conservation Legacy, authorized ranch managers can see the sender's account name, account email, subject and message so they can respond. These inquiries are private workspace records, not public posts.
Safety, review and records
Reports, audit events and verification history may be retained when needed to protect users, animals, historical records, account security and data integrity. Archiving content may preserve an audit trail rather than immediately destroying every related record.
Your account choices
You can manage account security from My Legacy. Account export and deletion requests are also part of the platform's account-management system. Some information may need to be retained when required for security, financial records, dispute handling or preservation of an accurate audit trail.
Data use principles
Conservation Legacy is built around preservation rather than advertising profiles. Personal information should be used for operating, protecting and improving the platform and the features a member chooses to use—not for exposing private horse, ranch or family information unnecessarily.
