Be useful and respectful
Talk to people as collaborators in a shared conservation space. Disagreement about horses, registries, breeding, history or husbandry is allowed. Harassment, threats, degrading attacks, stalking, impersonation and coordinated disruption are not.
Separate evidence from opinion
When making factual claims about pedigrees, registrations, deaths, ownership, health, genetics or historical events, share a source when one is available and make uncertainty clear when it is not. Good-faith corrections are part of preservation work.
Protect private information
Do not publish another person's private address, phone number, private documents, financial information, account credentials or nonpublic registration evidence without permission. Use private submission and review tools for sensitive records.
Protect animals and people
Do not use the platform to encourage neglect, cruelty, illegal activity or reckless horse-care practices. Emergency or medical questions should be directed to an appropriate veterinarian or emergency professional when delay could put an animal or person at risk.
No fraud or manipulation
Do not misrepresent a horse, ranch, pedigree, conservation need, sponsorship, payment request, identity or professional qualification. Spam, scams and deceptive fundraising can be removed and accounts may be restricted.
Reporting and blocking
Members can report community content for review and privately block another member. Reports should be made in good faith. Moderators may dismiss a report, archive content, restrict participation or take other proportionate action based on context and the available evidence.
Remember the mission
The purpose is not to make everyone agree. It is to make it possible for horses, records, farms, knowledge and the people carrying them forward to remain connected long enough to matter.
