The Rhinelander shows why a breed library needs more than an origin date. The disappearance, renewed imports and rebuilt club are separate turning points. Educators can explain how one person's decision to obtain new foundation animals became part of a wider community effort. A Recovering category recognizes improvement while leaving room for monitoring. Record families, varieties and locations with dates if future conservation work begins; a successful return does not make every line equally secure.
