Interpreting this population in practice

How its documented identity shapes learning and conservation.

Nankins belong to an old true-bantam tradition and have an important maternal role in poultry history. Explain their small body and recognized comb forms rather than confusing them with miniature versions of a large breed. Brooding usefulness should be observed in the actual line, and a historical reputation should not be treated as proof that every individual hen will sit.
